Where will the photo session be?

Photo sessions can occur at the location of your choosing or in Gretchen Ho’s photography studio in Northglenn, Colorado.

When is payment due?

Payments are due upon arrival of the session. Cash or check ONLY.

Make checks out to “Gretchen Ho”.

What should I wear? Are wardrobe changes allowed? Hair makeup?

Wardrobe changes are allowed, a changing room is provided on site only at Gretchen’s photography studio, not on location.

Make up, hair and wardrobe are not included in the photography services.

For Headshots and Portraits, neutral colored clothing and solid colors work best. Light pattern are okay. Textures (sweaters, knits) work really well and layers are usually the best! Dress in a way that makes you feel comfortable and confident.

*Please Do not wear solid white. It can, however, be used as a layer, just not on top.

What can I do with the digital images when I receive them?

You can use your images for any personal use… printing of the high resolution images and posting to social media of the web resolution images.

If your package includes high resolution images, you may print them at any lab you choose. You can order prints through me, I use a high quality nationally recognized lab.

What am I not allowed to do with my images?

Copyright is a complicated issue. What you should keep in mind is that in personal portraiture photography, the photographer always is the copyright owner of the image, not the person being photographed. I own the image as the photographer, and you are purchasing the rights to use the image for personal use. You are free to use the images for personal use and posting to social media sites.

If you would like to use the images for your portfolio as a model, awesome!!! Just let me know.

If you want to use the images for a commercial use (business, marketing) we can discuss the use. Just don’t let me see the image somewhere for business use without prior permission and compensation!

Other stuff:

For sport, dance or hobby photography or videography, Gretchen will call you to discuss all of the details of the shoot. Location, wardrobe, props, equipment and much more will be planned out thoroughly.

For animals and equestrian, we will discuss the proper location and environment for the desired shots. Every care will be taken to make the animal feel relaxed and at ease.

We will have a meeting prior (in person or on the phone) to the shoot to discuss all of the details as well as sign contracts and releases.
